Love in Miami's Hidden Paradise

There are some places that feel like they were made for love stories—and Vizcaya Gardens in Miami is one of them. Nestled on the edge of Biscayne Bay, this historic villa surrounded by lush greenery, European-inspired architecture, and waterfront views feels like stepping into a dream. And for Liv and JJ, it became the perfect backdrop to begin their next chapter together.

From the moment we arrived, the day felt soaked in magic. The gardens, with their overgrown charm and winding stone paths, gave the entire celebration an old-world European elegance with a tropical twist. The couple chose to have their ceremony in the garden overlooking the bay, under a floral chuppah that perfectly matched the romantic palette of green, brown and white.

Before the ceremony, we wandered the grounds for portraits. Vizcaya offers so many textures and backdrops: ivy-covered walls, ornate stone staircases, reflective pools, and of course, the breathtaking waterfront. Every corner is photo-worthy, and the couple couldn’t have looked more radiant against the backdrop of Miami sky at sunset.

FLOWERS

The chuppah is a lush, organic masterpiece. It features a romantic mix of:

• White roses, cream spray roses, and lisianthus for softness and elegance.

• Blush and pale pink hydrangeas, adding texture and a pop of color.

• Cascading greenery such as ferns and eucalyptus, giving a natural, wild garden feel.

• Baby’s breath and delicate filler flowers, tucked between larger blooms for an airy effect.

The structure feels integrated into the garden surroundings, with its abundance and height echoing the natural trees behind it.

This indoor reception setup is rich and intimate, lit by candlelight and warmly draped in fabric. The tables feature:

• Trailing white roses and greenery garlands that spill dramatically to the floor.

• Long-stemmed candles and soft florals like white lisianthus or ranunculus interspersed throughout.

• The floral palette is intentionally classic and monochrome—whites and creams, enhancing the romantic glow of the space.

The flowers feel timeless and opulent, with soft textures complementing the neutral linens and vintage-style chairs.

A fresh and light version of the reception decor, this setup focuses on:

• Neutral white and ivory blooms, including roses, lisianthus, and scabiosa or queen anne's lace.

• Airy, garden-style arrangements with ferns and delicate greenery tucked in between.

• The draped ceiling adds a soft cloud-like atmosphere, enhancing the feeling of an elegant garden indoors.

  
  

  WEDDING PLANNING

The day flowed seamlessly thanks to the impeccable planning and vision of @jessicacampbellevents, alongside the event and production magic of @f3eventsinc. This wasnt our first time working together and of course we werent dissapointed, their attention to detail and ability to turn dreams into reality made the entire experience feel effortless and truly one-of-a-kind. Guests were treated to a world-class dining experience by @neptuneskoshercatering, whose flavors and presentation were nothing short of artful. The exquisite desserts were crafted by @chefnessbakery, adding a sweet and sophisticated touch to the celebration.

The reception took place in the courtyard of the villa, where guests dined under string lights and stars. Long tables were adorned with candles and delicate florals, giving the evening a warm, intimate glow. Between the spontaneous dancing, and clinking of champagne glasses, the night felt like something out of a movie. They even had water guns filled with tequila !

This wedding was a true celebration of elegance and thoughtful detail, blending tradition with creativity in the most memorable ways. The kosher food was not only rich in flavor but presented with such finesse it became part of the décor—each dish carefully curated and plated like art. The fruit arrangements, in particular, were a standout—vibrant, fresh, and styled with sculptural precision, adding both color and charm to the setting.

The wedding planner and event coordinator worked in perfect harmony, orchestrating a seamless experience that allowed every element to shine. Their coordination was evident in every corner of the celebration—from the flow of the event to the tiniest decorative touch.

Each table was a masterpiece of design: polished place settings, delicate floral touches, and coordinated tones that whispered sophistication. One of the most unique features was the wall of mirrors, where guests found their names reflected back at them—both a practical seating chart and a striking visual statement.

Another beautiful detail was the Champagne ring—a clever and elegant display that added a touch of glam to cocktail hour. And for an extra thoughtful touch, stylish umbrellas were provided for the guests, ensuring comfort no matter the weather.

Every detail felt intentional.

ROMANTIC GLOW

The reception took place in Vizcaya’s enchanting courtyard, where warm string lighting by @exteremeproductionsflcreated a soft, romantic glow. Elegant rentals from @brelexeventrentals completed the look, creating an atmosphere that felt like a scene from a European summer night.

ENTERTAIMENT

One of the most unforgettable moments? The couple’s first dance under the open sky, with the soft breeze and the sound of waves nearby. It was one of those moments where everything slows down—and you’re reminded why weddings are so powerful.

Vizcaya Gardens doesn’t just provide a venue—it creates an atmosphere. It brings history, nature, and romance together in a way few places can. And witnessing Liv and JJ celebrate their love there was an absolute honor.

Live music by @avi_delevanti set the perfect tone throughout the day, from the emotional ceremony to the lively celebration that followed. And one of the most unique touches? A live cigar roller from @miamicigarentertainment, giving guests a luxe experience that perfectly blended tradition and fun.
